Bob, what kind of service do you need to perform? Regular maintenance, oil change, ect or actual repairs? If it is routine maintenance stuff I would suggest getting the owners manual from deere. If it is repair type work you could probably get hold of an IT manual (stands for Inter Tech I think). If you go to get the acual deere manuals for your tractor the are pretty pricey and you have to buy several to cover the entire tractor. They come in groups, like the frame group, the rear end group, ect.. The IT manuals will step you through stuff like a clutch change, pulling a head ect... If you don't want to spend your $$$ at your local deere dealer, I would recomment jensales.com. Ask for Paul and tell him Steve Baker sent you. Jensales sells a couplete line of Deere manuals as well as the most complete selection of antique tractor manuals that I know of. Good luck. ....
